And for my 1st trick

November 15, 2006

That trick of course being that I’m about to start my own blog. I’ve been bored with things out on the road this week and for some reason or other I started reading other people’s blogs and decided it was time to start one of my own. I’m going to try to keep up with it, but who knows how that will go. Since I’m new at this, I hope I can get some pointers from the more knowledged bloggers out there. (ie: susan, jeromy, mandy, etc) It might help to know what I’m doing, huh?

Anyways, on to the griping and complaining.(Some people say I’m really good at it.) I’ll start with today’s events. I began my morning with a load picking up in Houston,TX and was going to take it to Jackson, MS. However, at the very last minute my company had other plans for me and had me bring the load over to our service center in Houston. Someone else was taking that load to Jackson and now I get to wait until 1am to take a load to Laredo,TX. That’s the 2nd load this week that’s slipped from my fingers. Yesterday, the load I was supposed to pick up was cancelled. So far this week I’ve seen the inside of this truck more than I’ve seen the open road. At least I can’t say, “I’m tired!”

I guess that’s all I’ve really got for now. Maybe things will be a little more productive in the next few days.

  1. yea, i’d get tired of seeing the inside of a truck most of the week too.

nice looking blog though. the hardest part is to remember to keep up with it. i don’t keep up with mine as often as i probably could.

  2. oh yea, you also need to go into your settings and change the setting that says users must be logged in to comment. if you keep that set, only those who have an account at wordpress.com can post here. the otherway, it will still require their email address and name, but they can post without logging in.

  3. WOW!! Looks great. I’m impressed! And you do need to turn off the option Jeromy mentioned. Now everyone can listen/read your ramblings.
