So, a day later and I’m still in Laredo. No big surprise. I kinda expected it would happen that way. This morning I decided to go over to the Flying J truckstop for their DELICIOUS breakfast buffet. Of course, I had to overstuff myself. I probably regret that later. Anyways, just as I was climbing back into the truck the qualcomm beeped at me that I had a load to pick up. I knew it was going to do that while I was away from the Service Center. I waited all day yesterday there and got nothing. So, I looked where I was going to for the load. And now for the tease….. I drove 2 miles away from the Service Center delivered the load and returned to sit and wait some more. AHHHH!!! After the way things have gone this week, I’ll be glad to get home and be out of this truck for a little while. I’ll probably have to wait until tonight around 9pm or so before they send me back towards home. That’s usaully the way it happens on Friday when I get stuck at one of our Service Centers.
I did get some things done while waiting around. I paid some bills. Yeah, that’s always fun. At least we’ll have electricity and cellphones for another month. I watched the movie, “The Number Sleven”. It was ok. Not really a must see though. And I played Snood. Thanks Susan, for getting me so addicted to that game. I need to go to a “Snood Anonymous” or something like that now. Susan’s morning sickness hit her one too many times today and she ended up having to leave work early for the first time. I hope she can get some rest and feel better. It seems no matter what she tries to eat, it just doesn’t settle well with the baby. I take that back. She can eat boneless spicy buffalo chicken wings and mexican food without getting sick. I keep teasing her by telling her the baby’s going to come out burnt if she keeps eating that stuff. But really, if that’s what agrees with her tummy, than that’s what she should eat.
I guess that’s all I’ve got for now. Time to play more Snood!
