I cannot believe all the things Susan and I did today. We got up at 7am and went to dropped off the Camaro over atCraigs Collision Repair to get the work started on it. From there Susan dropped me off at the dentist to get more work done on my teeth. She came home to get ready for her doctor’s appointment at 10:30am. She picked me up from the dentist at 9:45am and we got to her doctor just in time. After that we came home for a little while to let the dog out and get the rope lights off the tree in our front yard to take back to Target. They were supposed to look candy cane like, but instead looked more orange when they were lit.
When we left the house we 1st went to the DMV and changed the address on our driver’s license. Then we went to downtown Fort Worth to take care of the charges on my ticket. I had to go before a judge for the 1st time ever. I was nervious as could be. When my name was called I felt my heart just stop. I went up and figured it would all be over soon. Boy, was I wrong! The judge dismissed the fine for my change of address. However, to my complete surprise, she did not waive the proof of insurance charge. I had the proof in my hands, but she wouldn’t even look at it. She said that since there was an accident involved she couldn’t dismiss it cause she had no way of knowing whether the insurance card was a fake or not. Now I have to go back on a court appointed time to see another judge about that and the driving unsafe for road conditions charge. That means a day off work without pay. By the time this is all done I’ll have been better off just having paid the ticket.
Susan & I then went to Target and exchanged the lights for some cool little candy cane lights. We also got some more extention cords for outside and some food for dinner. When we got home we hung the lights on the tree outside. Then Susan made her fiesta chicken and rice, which was delicious as usual. Now it’s time for bed. Goodnight all.
